Sayonara and Graduation Day 2023
Sayonara and Graduation Day was held on 22/05/2023 at conference hall, BCE. The program started at by planting of saplings by the toppers of all the departments followed by Ethnic Day. After lunch, Sayonara event got commenced. The chief guest for the function was Sri. Santosh Deshpande, who is the Director and CEO, Netlabs IT Services. The two guests of honour were 1. Sri Adarsh Devendraswamy, Architect, Wipro technologies and 2. Mr. Rangaraju from Netlabs IT Services. After the presendential address and adresss by the chief guests and guest of honour, the oath taking ceremony was held. The final year students of all the departments received third provisional degree certificates. The program got concluded by vote of thanks and playing of Nation Anthem.

The small video of the rally,“Plastic Free Shravanabelagola” held on 03 march 2020 was presented. The program was inaugurated by Lightning the lamp by the dignitaries on the stage.
Ms. Vanishree Lende 5th Sem EC invocated the function. Bhujabali A Balagar welcomed the gathering .Ms. Nandini N swamy 5th sem CSE introduced the chief guest. And Principal Dr.Gomatesh M Ravanavar give the introductory speech anddignitaries on the Stage Felicitated our chief guest Rtn. ChandrashekarH S and our chief guest Rtn. ChandrashekarH S the speaker of this program give the information about how to reduce the waste and how to segregate the plastic and the disposal of the waste and he gave some information to adopt the requirements to reduce the plastic in our environment.he explained every topic with the PPT Presentation. AndHarshitha B K 5th Sem CSE present the vote of thanks. And concluded this program by national anthem.

PLASTIC AWARENESS PROGRAM
As a part of NSS activity “PLASTIC AWARENESS” program was conducted on March 03 2020 in college with collaboration of Rotaract club. The program was presided over by Smt Latha ramesh, president, grama panchayat, Shravanabelagola. The program included the walkathon of 3.5kms from college to the market. The walkathon was flagged off by the president in the presence of Principal, PDO and Staff. Nearly 200 students took part in the Walkathon. The students enacted the street play on difference between dry and wet waste at 3 places.
AIDS AWARENESS PROGRAM
As a part of NSS activity “AIDS AWARENESS” program was conducted on February 17 2020 in seminar hall. The program was presided over by Dr Yuvaraj, Administrative Medical Officer, CHC, Shravanabelagola and Dr Nagesh Aradya, DAPCO Office Hassan. They gave the students knowledge about the effects and preventive measures need to be taken in case of Aids disease. There was medical checkup held for students and staff from the shravanabelagola hospital. Nearly 70 persons took the benefit of the health checkup.
GANDHI JAYANTI
On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi 2nd October 2019, NSS Unit had decided to organize Social awareness programs in Shravanabelagola through street act in the following venues Near Ganapati pendal, Near Anjaneya Temple, BM Road, All the staff and students were invited to join the event and it was successful.
ROTARACT INAGURATION
The Charter Presentation & Inaguration Ceremony of ROTARACT CLUB BAHUBALI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Was held on 26 september 2019.The Mother club i.e., Rotary club of channarayapattana took initiative to install the Rotaract club BCE. Dr. G.M. Ravanavar gave support to install this club. Rtn Phf B N Ramesh District Governer Ri Dist 3182 was the chief guest and Dr. Gomatesh M Ravanavar, Principal, Rtn Jithendra H J, Assistant Governer Zone 9, Rtn Harish D K, President, R C Channarayapattana vision, Rtn Pradeep G S, Dist Rotaract Vice Chairman, Rtn Mamatha, Secretary, R C Channarayapattana vision,Asst. Prof. Mr. Shrenik B B, Rotaract club BCE Co-ordinator,Bhujabali A Balagar, President Rotaract club Bce were the other dignitaries on the dais.
The Rotaract club Bce has 43 Members. And the Board members are Akshatha H K, Vice President,Yash P, Secretary, Rohini B J, Tresherer, Prajwal Jain J, international club, Mohan Kumar H S Youth Club, Manoj M P,Raksha Jain B,Nikhil M P,Vikram Singh.

Ms.Nisarga C P, 3rd sem EC introduced the Rotaract president. The chief guest Rtn B N Ramesh delivered the oath to all the Members. Rtn Jithendra H J delivered the speech. And Dr. G M Ravanavar delivered the Speech And gave the momento to the Rotary President. Rtn Pradeep G S gave information about Rotaract. Rtn BN Ramesh delivered the guest speech.Rtn Mamatha proposed vote of thanks.
The first event after the inauguration Based on the Theme GO GREEN INITIATIVE. The guests and the Members of Rotaract club Bce planted the plant in the college campus.
TEACHERS' and ENGINEERS' DAY-19
The ISTE chapter organized Teachers’ and Engineers’ day celebration and Inauguration of Student Council 2019-20 on 16th September 2019. Dr. Satish Annigeri, Registrar Evaluation, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi was the Chief guest, Dr. Gomatesh. M. Ravanavar, Principal, Bahubali College of Engineering presided over the function, Shri. H. D. Nagendraiah, Assistant Executive Engineering (Retd.), City Muncipality, Hassan, Chairman, Governing Council, Bahubali College of Engineering, and Shri. Mahesh S. P. Secretary, S.S.D.J.J.P Sangha were guests of honour. Prof. Nagaraj S. Student Welfare Officer and Prof. Abhilash K J, Secretary, ISTE Chapter, Mr. Amith. K, Vice-President, ISTE Student Chapter were the other dignitaries on the dais. The Heads of various departments, staff and students were present on the occasion.

The event 'project pusthaka' exclusively comes under the science club.This project was first started on 19th September, where students of 1st year actively participate and shower their ideas and thoughts which turns to hard work.
This event was firstly inaugurated by our respected principal, by donating his own old books he gave us a new theme, encouragement and support for this event.
The main intention of this project is to collect old books in order to help the students in flood region areas,where many youths lost their shelter ,food and sadly the education also,which turned their life to darkness.We motivate them in order to continue their education by giving them a recycled books where we collect the collect the old books and turn them into new one .Where students can continue their education without any pause.

So .........our BCE family of 1st year students under science club has taken the initiative to help the students in flood region areas to continue their education
Faculty Development Program
The departments of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Science & Engineering, jointly organized VTU TEQIP 1.3 sponsored 3 days Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) IN EDUCATION” from 17th – 19th August, 2019 in association with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi, Karnataka, Aryabhatta Knowledge University Patna, Bihar, Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha.
The resource persons were Prof. R. P. Punagin, Principal (Rtd.), K.L.E. Society’s College of Engineering & Technology, Udyambag, Belagavi, Prof. Rajashekhar M., Assistant Professor & HOD, Department of Civil Engineering, Jain College of Engineering, Macche, Belagavi, and Ms. Umashree M. Sajjanar, Assistant Professor in BME Department at KLE’s Dr M.S.Sheshagiri College of Engineering and Technology, Belagavi.
BLOOD DONATION CAMP
26th march, 2019 a blood donation camp was organized by National Service Scheme, unit & Department of Social Work in BCE, Shravanabelagola from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The Camp was inaugurated by Dr. Gomatesh m Ravanavar, Dr. NagarathnaGovt Hospital and NSS Programme Coordinator Mr.Pradeep Kumar Meti.Volunteers of rarest blood group have donated the blood in camp and 35-40 volunteers are held on call at the time of any scarcity/ need.
SAYONARA 19
Sayonara -2019, an annual farewell event of Bahubali College of Engineering was organized on 22.05.2019. Mr. Yashpal Gupta S. Asst.Prof Department of Information Science and Engineering coordinated the program with the cooperation of the HOD‘s of all the department, teaching and nonteaching staff and student volunteers of the college.
Photo session was conducted for Final Year students of all branches and Students placed for various companies. Saplings were planted by toppers of each branch: Mr.Madan Kumar B S, Civil Engineering, Ms.Kalpana Computer Science and Engineering, Mr.Swaroop Jain, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Ms.Sushma K, Information Science and Engineering, Mr.Praveenkumar Mahadev Navi, Mechanical Engineering.
Evening program was conducted for all the students consisting of funny games, students had shared their views and opinions of towards the college and staffs, all final year students took oath under the guidance of Mr.Nagaraju S, Student welfare Officer and Presidential address was given by Dr. Govardhan Goud, in charge Principal.
ANWESHANE 19
Anweshane-19 with a tag line…..In Search of Innovation to Inventions encourages young minds to excel in their multi talent by conducting more than twenty six competitions which include Essay Writing, Debate Competition, Rangoli, Collage, Face Painting, Clay Modeling, Poster making, Singing Competition, Dance Competitions and many more.
The annual social cultural fest “Anweshane-19” was celebrated on 27th April 2019. For Anweshane, we invite eminent personalities from different fields as Chief Guests every year to enlighten and motivate the students. This year, Sri. Hiremagaluru Kannan, Kannada pujari was invited as the chief guest and special invitees were Sri. Thyagaraj T and Smt. Nagashree Thyagaraj, Dr. Gomatesh M. Ravanavar, Principal, Sri. Kiran P, Coordinator, Ms. Rashmi M.R, Vice President of Cultural committee and Mr. Mohith kumar R, General Secretary , Ms. Meghana A.Y, Joint Secretary were the other dignitaries on the dais. Ms. Pallavi K.R. 4th sem CV and Ms. Milana N.P. 6th sem CV invocated the function. Ms.Kruthika M.C. 4th sem EC welcomed the gathering. Ms. Nikshitha, 8th sem CV introduced the chief guest. Ms.Kasheebai Byakod, Asst. Professor, CV presented the annual report of the college. Winners of all the events were awarded with certificate of appreciation and Medals. At the same time, the Academic toppers were felicitated. The “GOLD MEDAL” winners of the final years Ms. Kavya S K., E&CE, Ms. Kavya H.S, IS&E, Ms. Kavana M.K. , CS&E, Mr. Santhosh L.S., CV , Mr.Jaisurya N.B., ME were specially invited along with their parents and were felicitated. CSI ACTIVITIES
- 28 students of CS&E and IS&E participated in a quiz competition conducted by Mysore CSI chapter held on 25-02-19.
- 2 students Amruth C and Pallavi J of 6th semester CS&E department got selected for the final round of Mr. and Miss CSI Competition held on 12-03-19 at central institute of Indian languages, Mysore.
- Under CSI club, 2 sessions about the OS installation and other software installation were taken for 2nd semester students by Mohan M C, 8th semester IS&E department.
